My name is Megan and I am based in London. After many years working in the NHS as a mental health nurse, I decided to hang up my hat and pursue my love of furniture design and restoration. I have always been interested in interior design and antiques and vintage homeware and found that these pursuits helped me find some peace from the challenges of nursing. There is something very satisfying about taking an old piece of furniture and bringing it back to it’s former glory or refinishing it in a different style, using paint, stencils or decoupage. There is also the added bonus of saving a piece of beloved old furniture from being discarded and lost forever.

Over the past few years I have collected many treasures for my own home and although my tastes have changed a little, my interest in this pursuit hasn’t and I love the stories that old pieces tell us. Most of the items I sell have had a previous life but I do look for pieces that have been lovingly cared for but there may still be some signs of wear and age. I think this is part of the charm of owning a vintage piece.
